Analyze sales statistics Project sales and determine the profitability of products and services Determine discount rates or special pricing plans Develop plans to acquire new customers or clients, through direct sales techniques, cold calling, and business-to-business marketing visits Assign sales territories and set sales quotas Coordinate sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents and communicating relevant information Respond to complaints from customers and give after-sales support when requested Store and sort financial and non-financial data in electronic form and present reports Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems Ensure adherence to laws and policies of company. Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options. Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions. Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements. Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors. Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information. Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
