Role & Responsibility  Setting up the weekly, monthly, quarterly procurement plan.  Procurement of Specialty Metals, Copper, Aluminum Zinc, Scrap & Bars from International markets  Development of alternative sources for International Trading which helps in Business Development.  Planning and budgeting of purchase functions, involving cost estimation, contract negotiations.  Liaison with the OEM’s Suppliers to maintain optimum inventory for customers.  Implementing systems to avoid situations like stocking or out-of-stock which cause financial losses.  Knowledge of Import/Export Logistics, Shipments, transactions & Custom Related Issues.  Liaison with finance department for timely payment of bills.  Developing reports on procurement and usage of material for top management.  Collect economic and technical data for negotiation preparation or contract setting.  Supplier follow-up related to request quotation.  Making CJS Sheets of new supplier.
